Focus of Practice Harold Trimmer's practice is focused on professional liability, civil litigation, as well as white-collar criminal defense and related matters. He has experience in complex professional liability matters and political corruption investigations. Background Prior to attending law school, Mr. Trimmer was the marketing director for an e-commerce company in Santa Barbara, California. In addition, Mr. Trimmer was previously an advisor on e-commerce policy at the United States Trade Representative and a research analyst focusing on global trade policy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. Mr. Trimmer originally joined Coughlan Semmer & Lipman as a law clerk in the summer of 2004. In 2007, after completing a clerkship at the San Diego County Office of the Public Defender, he became an attorney at the firm. Accomplishments Mr. Trimmer has served as a guest judge at moot court competitions held by the University of San Diego, School of Law. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association. |
