Earll Pott secures reduced charge and probation for client wrongfully accused of murder. In People v. Eric House, et. al., a case that has garnered national attention, Mr. Pott successfully argued for dismissal of gang allegations at the preliminary hearing and then negotiated a plea bargain permitting his client to plead guilty to aiding and abetting involuntary manslaughter. At sentencing, despite a prosecution recommendation for four years prison, the court granted probation, sentencing the client to seven months in local jail. Mr. Pott is presently defending the client and his mother in a civil wrongful death action.
